What are some must-read suggestions for a fifteen-year-old girl?

Summer's coming up, and for me that means reading time. What suggestions do you have to fill up my summer? I've already read Twilight, Harry Potter, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, etc., and I liked them all. As for classics, I love Jane Austen, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Farenheit 451, just to name a few. I already have these on my summer list:

-The Lovely Bones (for school)
-Wuthering Heights
-Bingo, by Rita Mae Brown
-Rebecca, by Daphne du Maurier
-We Have Always Lived in the Castle, by Shirley Jackson
-The Catcher in the Rye, J.D. Salinger
-Some of the SimonPULSE romantic comedies

I am not a fan of hard core sci-fi (I read Ender's Game and I hated it), anything explicitly sexual, or Gossip Girl, The Au-Pairs, or any other series featuring whiny rich girls doing sex and drugs. (No offense to those of you who like it--some of my best friends do, too.) Otherwise, I'm willing to try anything. Suggestions?

You should try a Long Way Gone By Ishmael Beah because I noticed that you dont have any non-fiction on your list.

Another suggestion would be Persuasion by Jane Austen because I'm guessing you've already read Pride and Prejudice.

If you're interested in fantasy books that have a strong female lead character, the I recommend the following (they're not too out there, they only have a bit of magic and a different setting):

The Blue Sword By Robin McKinley
The Pellinor series By Alison Croggon
    Wild Magic By Tamora Pierce
Alanna: The first adventure By Tamora Pierce
Protector of the Small series By Tamora Pierce
The Blue Sword By Robin McKinley
Crown Duel & Court Duel By Sherwood Smith
Protector of the Small series By Tamora Pierce
The Magicians Guild By Trudi Canavan (It’s a series of 3 books but I can only remember the name of the first one)

Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin (I loved this book)

Some classics I would reccomend would be:
The Once and Future king By T.H. White
    The Awakening, by Kate Chopin
    Books By Mary Gaskall

And I also think that you would like Books by Sarah Dessen. Her books all have a bit of romance but also deal with issues that face teens today. My favorites are Just Listen and The Truth About Forever.

a really good book is Where The Red Fern Grows. the only thing about it is that its a sad book. i am fifteen now and i read the book last year. it really is sad, i almost cried at the end. another one is a series called The Looking Glass Wars. it is a play off of the original Alice In Wonderland book. it has turned out to be one of my favorite series. i also enjoyed The Giver, Bleachers, The Five People You Meet In Heaven, and Shadow Divers. the last one is non-fiction. i didn't think that i would like it since i am not into the whole concept of the book, but it turned out to be really good. if you enjoy historical fiction, you may like a series called The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing.

    i hope this helps :)

P.S. my absolute favorite series is called the Adventures of Blue Avenger. it is amazing, but i am pretty sure that they aren't being printed anymore and can be difficult to find. the ones that i have read were ones that i borrowed from the library, so check there if you are interested.
