Anyone know a modern day poet, that does not follow any poem structure? Besides E.E Cummings?

Besides, EE.Cummings, and it can't follow any structure like Shakespearian, Pentracham, or Shakespearian. It sorta has to be just there. Ya know?

It's true that Cummings wrote a lot of free verse, but he also wrote a great deal of excellent formal verse (poetry that uses rhyme and meter), including some of the 20th century's best Shakespearean sonnets. Take another look at his work. You'll see what I mean.

But right now, you're looking for free verse poets. There are lots of good ones. Here are just a few names:

Allen Ginsberg
Lawrence Ferlinghetti
Kim Addonizio
Dorianne Laux
Lucia Perillo

You can find samples of all of their work online. Enjoy.
