Help writing a thesis?

Ok so i have to write this thesis well an essay and i dont know what to write for my thesis. So i have to read william faulkner's barn burning story and A Good Man is Hard to Find by flannery o'connor. i have to compare how point of view and character work together in the stories. so far i wrote

Point of view is the position of the narrator in relation to a story. regardless of what ist he outcome of the story or the format it was written in, stories will always have a point of view. two stories with different outcomes and scenerials that are written from the same perpective are barn burning and a good man is hard to find.

so for my thesis i dont know i want to write like how even though these stories are told from the same point of view they still have different outcomes. idk please help guys i've been stuck on this for the longest. thank you soo much for the help

First off have you read both books already? If you did, then did you understand what you read? Point of view is classified as first person (in which one character tells you everything he knows and sees and you know what goes inside his mind but is limited to only that) , second person (which is rarely used it is a story told by an "outsider" of the other characters who are in the actual story), third person omniscient ("the all-knowing" narrator who can tell you everything from a point of view that involves everyone and he knows what goes inside everyone's mind you aren't limited to one character's head or thoughts and also you aren't limited to only the actions of one character you can jump from scene to scene.) Third Person limited is like third person omniscent except that you are limited to the thoughts and ideas of a single character.

So now that we have that out of the way the 2 stories you read should fall under one of the 4 POV's you can compare and contrast to how you were able to see what went inside different characters heads and where you were able to go with different characters in the novels.
