I have a lexus is200 and i am changing the sark plug because it was missfiring.?
whenever i put the plug into number 2 it doesnt start up due to it has oil on it. when i take it out the electrode is cover of oil not alot so i was thinking blowing air into where the plug goes to dry the oil. i was wondering would that work?

The answer is sort of in the question but is it high mileage ? has number 2 cylinder got compresion & is there a poping noise in the
exhaust is there spark? you have got to do the tests to find out the
cause of the misfire if it is multy coil !! Swap the coil with one thats ok
& see if the misfire moves to that cylinder if not then its not the coil E.C.T.
