How do i get my parents to let me buy a 360?

Question

my mom is so stubborn about anything, if i ask to talk to her about it she will just yell at me to get out of the room, or walk out her self. She says that all the violent games will make me wan tto shoot people?????? idk what she is talking about...... But i have incredible grades, i mean like a 104 in spanish, and all the rest are in the 90's. I have tried showing my mom the family filter but she wouldnt listen. Even when the word xbox comes up she will just plug her ears. I have more than enough money that i made babysitting and mowing lawns.
PLESE HELP!

Well she just hates the xbox :( i feel really left out at school cuz every1 just seems to have 1 and always talks about playing other school tournes on live

I don't understand why your Mom won't let you play on the X-Box. Has she seen something that has upset her? You sound like you are well over the age to be playing. You have really good grammar and sound intelligent enough to know right from wrong. Your Mom doesn't think you're responsible enough to play the games on X-Box? I might see it if you got in trouble all the time and she was trying to punish you, but to punish you for no reason at all doesn't sound right. Mom's can be overprotective. A little too overbearing. It doesn't help anyone in the long run. Your Mom (no offense to her) should be a little bit lenient so she can see that she can trust you. Otherwise how would she ever know she can if she never let's you prove it? How responsible you are that is.

try starting to explain about al the movies and music you can download try and make it look like you would use it for far more than games and persist one time if she leaves follow her if she says leave come back in 5 mins and put across the good points but it is al up to how much you can stand up to her though.

find proof online that video games don't make people violent. it's all lies and that the only way you can get "M" rated games is if mom or dad buy them for you. they have all kinds of family games too. try introducing a family game night idea to her maybe she'll buy it.

lol your mom is 0_0 well......crazy!!!
first off even the kid games have some form of violent
....but anyway you got to show her that you won't go shooting
ppl the next day.
and it a fact that they use that as a excuse to get out of trouble
i mean really games make you not want to shoot ppl because you
got all the stress out in the game. i would say go buy it anyway and
tell her you can't return it lol....i don't know it just seem like your mother
baby you. you could tell her that movies aren't any better and that
if you truly wanted me not to see violent you wouldn't have movies
and tv in the house 0_0

be depressed around her until she ask why you are depressed, then tell her to let you buy a 360 or you will kill yourself. Get bad grades until she gives in if you really want to.
