What are some sexist shows/movies?

I need to know a couple of sexist TV shows or movies towards women.
As of now I have The Real housewives of Orange County, Pretty Women, and Disney Princesses.

Housewives: Totally not real and trying to say that is all housewives do.
Pretty Women: She had to have a man to make her who she became.
Princesses: They all have a man by their side which makes them Princesses.

Mad Men is a sexist show but that's because it was based in the 50's (I think or the 40's or 60's - not sure)

You do not need to know a couple of sexist TV shows or movies.

Somebody with an agenda is telling you that you need to be offended for no good reason.

OK so you've got a Disney movie, a reality TV show, and a movie depicting a prostitution turned romance transition.

I see you've been quite busy uncovering all of our sexist female confidence undermining propoganda messages. So we're taking it up a notch.

A book that is sexist is Twighlight.! I hate it.
There as tv shows like Wife Swap and some of the families on there are sexist.
Also, that playboy bunny tv show with kendra.

I can name you some shows and movies that are sexist against men.

everybody loves raymond.(they are saying that men are stupid)

the Simpson's.(the same thing)

james bond(they are saying that men by nature are violent)

full house(they are saying that men are macho pigs)

kim possible(you don't have to see the actions of the characters all you have to do is hear their names)

jimmy neutron boy Genius(they are showing that women should be the boss and men should be the slaves)

Showgirls.

For the poster below - Belle is into books but she is considered a total weirdo because of it. Her role in the movie is to make the beast, who is holding her prisoner ps, into a "prince". The "I can change him!" mentality that is oh so prevalent.

Instead of going with TV shows, I'd go with commercials. They are viewed by a more mainstream and widespread audience.

An example of a sexist theme commercials have is that they have the "smart mom, dumb dad" relationship. You can google this... I know there's plenty of info out there about it.

I think the disney one is wrong, at least in modern times. Mu lan fought off the hans herself. Pochahontas saves john. Belle is into books. Jane ) of Tarzan) is down for living in the jungle.


And the housewifes do that **** to themselves.

I would say probably most action movies. Man is awesome/fights/saves the day. woman looks hot/is retarded.

Edit : Windsir is wrong. in general but also about muppets, Janice is a girl. She plays in a rock band and says slightly raunchy things every now and again.
