id call the government office in charge to ask and be sure. some places require a USDA lisence to own one. which can be obtained from the proper officials

YES IT IS ILLEGAL TOO OWN AWOLF OR MIX. BUT I NO A FRIEND THAT HAS 3 OF THEM. THEY KEEP THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE HELPING TO BREED THEM. THEY DO HAVE A LIC. BUT I DONT NO WHAT KIND.

Don't get one. They are not like dogs and very dangerous. They will not be cuddly and will be very skiddish.
