Interpretation or analysis of an Adrienne Rich poem.. your ideas?

Adrienne Rich - Miracle Ice Cream

Miracle's truck comes down the little avenue,
Scott Joplin ragtime strewn behind it like pearls,
and, yes, you can feel happy
with one piece of your heart.

Take what's still given: in a room's rich shadow
a woman's breasts swinging lightly as she bends.
Early now the pearl of dusk dissolves.
Late, you sit weighing the evening news,
fast-food miracles, ghostly revolutions,
the rest of your heart.

What do you think its about? I am having troubles with the second half.. im totally lost and itd be awesome if you could help me out :)

the poem is about a memory that someone had during the 1930's.
The first half is about a miracle ice cream truck that is playing scott joplin tunes to attract business...

the second half is about growing up. the pearl of dusk dissolving could possible mean losing one's innocence and growing up since dusk is associated with the end of the day. But he seems content with growing up and watching the news with his wifey cause that is just the next stage in life.
