Poll: Whats your take on this?
We don't see things as they are. We see things as we are.
Anais Nin
Yes...this is a great quote...I could write an essay on this...and if you keep it posted I will add so much more..i am expecting an important call! So more ....to be contd..this one really touches my heart! How we can learn from these great minds ..hey Jimi!? We see what we want to see and how unfair for those who come into oour paths...how we must learn to surrender that which would kill another! And then there is the delusions we create...by mistakeningly creating ...that which isn't reality...I leave for you two ...wonderful quootes to reflect upon in your quiet moments...and for all ofus to see some difference in how to be...These two below are from this wonderful woman who graces us with wisdom and love.
I, with a deeper instinct, choose a man who compels my strength, who makes enormous demands on me, who does not doubt my courage or my toughness, who does not believe me naïve or innocent, who has the courage to treat me like a woman.
Anaïs Nin
We are like sculptors, constantly carving out of others the image we long for, need, love or desire, often against reality, against their benefit, and always, in the end, a disappointment, because it does not fit them.
Anais Nin
Speaking of "Knocking your socks off!" Your language not mine! lol! Here's mine...I am graced by these thoughts and see with more refined clarity just who I am and who I am meant to be and how we forfiet the greatest of reality and be deprived of all , especially the warmth of love.....lovely question..that loves the soul! God bless:))
My total response is this one...love it!
“The personal life deeply lived always expands into truths beyond itself.” Anaïs Nin
