Why does Sarah Palin want President Obama to spend money on building a Nuclear Shield around Alaska?

That project would likely cost Trillions of dollars in RD alone. I thought Conservatives were suppose to be against spending. This is one of many reasons why Sarah Palin will never be President of the United States.

Because North Korean missiles can now strike Anchorage!! The missile shield technology already exists and has been tested successfully. Deployment costs are nothing compared to what Obama has put in the so-called stimulus bill.

Republicans aren't against high spending, as evidenced by the Bush administration spending more than any other administration ever.

They would just rather lower taxes and increase spending. I think Republicans are under the impression that a large deficit is good or something...
