Leftwing punk in Paris - what to see and where to stay?

Hey!

I'm taking my girlfriend for a few days in Paris at the end of June and I was wondering if anyone could give me some help. Typically I like to stay in cultural hot spots, maybe with a bit of an alternative flavour but I know she wouldn't want to stay at a squat.

Also, can you recommend anything to see whilst there? I was hoping to see the catacombs, is that easy to find? Anything to do with the '68 enrage uprising to go see?

Finally, eating and drinking. I'm a vegetarian so anywhere interesting but cheap to try? Any good clubs or bars for a bit of rock/punk/electro/indie?
