Do you know what is meant by media commentary? If so, you'll agree that it's pretty much front-and-center in this poem, right?
What you want to do here is establish that Ginsberg seems to think that the mass media (he mentions publications by name) are responsible for people's failing to think for themselves. Instead they are given visions of America that are pro-corporation, conformist, and racist. And they are given these so incessantly that they can no longer think of the country (or its proper goals) in any other way.
You should be able to get a fair amount of mileage out of this. If you run out of material, you can delve into Ginsberg's fairly obviously leftist politics, which further explain why the mass media's perspectives irked him so much.
Good luck!
