Why does the USA fear the Y generation?

Most of us are still in school/college and the work force already is beginning to fear our generation.

My son is your age and I hate the way this fanatic in the white house is strip mining his future. I don't hate the Y generation at all. I wish Obama would back off of his insanity and leave you guys a chance to thrive and not pay all of your earnings in taxes just to service the irresponsible debt he is running up

Mostly because this is a generation of entitlement that wants to be praised for doing spectacular things like showing up to work on time and accomplishing the job you were required to do. If the was ever a generation that was built on artificially inflated self-esteem, I can't think of it.

Generation Y is lazy, shallow, and naive. They've never experienced REAL hard times, like the Great Depression, WW2, Vietnam or the major Gas Crisis in the 70s. Everything they have has been handed to them. They have an undeserved sense of self-entitlement.

Whatever happens in the coming years could be a wake up call of sorts.
