If they do I think Elle Fanning would be the perfect choice as the vampire, she is about the right age and has the talent. Who would you pick to play the boy?

hollywood is making a remake, its being directed by matt reeves, the director of cloverfield. i have no idea who would make a good vampire but i hope they dont just pick dakota fanning

I would hope they don't pick Dakota Fanning apart from anything else she is a bit old for this role but they do tend to go for names to sell a film. I would like to see Elle get a break I've seen her in a couple of small indie films and she is much more natural than her sister.
