What role was Laura Ingraham's in Little House on the Prairie?

Question

I keep seeing where people are linking her to the TV show, yet nothing I search shows her listed as an actor for that show. Are they confusing her with the author of the book? Laura Ingalls Wilder??

On Wikipedia a quite extensive (though possibly incomplete) list of stars and guest stars through the years are listed, and I so far haven't found her name. Yet, internet blogs as well as TV talk shows have linked her with that show.

I am not sure of Laura Ingraham's role - I don't recall her being in it at all either. Alison Arngrim played Nellie Olsson on that show and the books were written by Laura Ingalls Wilder.

Are you talking about the radio host? She was never on that show.

They are indeed confusing her last name, Ingraham, with that of Laura Ingalls (Wilder) who wrote "Little House on the Prairie" which inspired the TV series of the same name.

Melissa Gilbert played the role of Laura Ingalls, not Laura Ingraham, who has recently voted sixth among most-listened to talk shows as a radio host on "The Laura Ingraham Show". She also is an author of 3 books and a political commentator.
