Having trouble with my bank of america account!?

I just opened my account 4 days ago. When i opened my account the guy gave us a temporary card, and he told us that when we got home to log on to our account online and transfer at least 25 dollars to our savings account so that it wont get close. So the next day i loged on my balance said that i didn't have any money available so i check on my transactions and it appear that there was a hold on $-888,888.88 and that it was going to be available until 4/10/09. I have never deposited this amount so i waited untill the next day to check on my account thinking that maybe it was an error. So the next day before calling that bank i log on again and their was a fee charge of $60 dollar and it read that it was an :(Account Research fees take place when you visit a banking center and have an associate research an item on your account). This really surprice me because i haven't gone to the bank sence i open the account. So i called the bank and the stupid lady said that my account was going to be close. She said that it was for their safety and my safety but she never gave me an actual explanation. i ask her if i could open another account and she said not that it was just for their safety. She said that my money was going to be send to me in 5 day. This is the first time i have open an account with them. Has this happen toanyone and what can i do. Can anyone help me, should i just go to the bank and tell them to give me my money their and then?

I don't know if this was a computer error or a case of identify theft, but I would definetly go down there and make sure I get a clear answer on what happened.

All I can tell you is that two of my friends were talking about problems associated with their BoA accounts. One of them went on to say that they aren't worth dealing with.

I'm sorry I don't have any details to help you with more, but I assure you that you aren't the only person having problems with BoA.

I don't deal with them but those friends of mine do.

I have never heard of such a thing and I have never heard of the guy telling you to move the money yourself. Why didn't he just do it? That sounds strange right there why he wouldn't do it. I have bank of america also and although everyone that I go to is extremely nice the fees are outrageous and I'm looking into opening a account with a credit union without all those crazy fees for everything you do.

This happened to one of my business accounts awhile ago. Same negative charge of -888,888.88. I didn't know what that charge was for when I had about 130,000 in that account.

It means someone tried hacking your account number and stealing money from your account. This is what was told to me.

Of course nothing was taken because of the security measures. Just so you know you won't to pay that back. What I would do is call BOA and get it straightened out.
