What's the difference between a fungible good and non fungible good?

like whats the important difference between gas(fungible) and shoes(non fungible)?

All gallons of gas are the same. If you misplace a gas can you can buy a new one. All shoes are not the same. If you lose your shoes you can't just wear someone elses; it's gross and they'll be the wrong size.
