When You Call the Illinois Link Help Line to Access Your Illinois Link Account, You will Need
The full 9-digit social security number, and
Date of Birth, and
19-digit Illinois Link card number printed on the front of the card, or your PIN
For your first card, you will need to call the Illinois Link Help Line to select your PIN. You will need the card number to access your Link account information through the Help Line.
The social security number and date of birth are usually for the primary card holder, but may be for a child in the case.
Call the Illinois Link Help Line to
select your first PIN for your active Link card
change your PIN
check your account balances
report a Link card lost or stolen
request a replacementment card
check the status of a replacement Link card that was already requested
report a problem with a purchase or withdrawal and request an investigation
