What would you do if, suddenly...?

...technology disappeared completely for an entire year? And when I say technology, I mean anything invented after the 1850s. So you would be living like Laura Ingalls Wilder did.

How do you think society would cope without computers, phones, cars etc.?

Additional Details

The only technology available would be that of agriculture similar to the mid-1800s.

Wow this is the best question and i really loved it as i had seen such things in history or on site of Discovery. Before such technologies the population on planet was minimal and with limited requirements people used to be so happy and cheerful. Now the situation is adverse as no one has time to view what is PLEASURE or JOY and it varies from person to person . The stress and living standard has gone changed dramatically . And if no technology is being experienced by the population as a whole , the human mind shall definitely be searching something to keep their leisure time in befitting manner acceptable to all. Besides, recently the % of plesure / cheerfulness / contendtedness was worked out by one of the Human Scientist and have wrote a book on the subject . The best part of contendted population and community found in Cuba where the technology is bare minimum spreaded and even people are more happy . What is required is FOOD / CLOTHING / SHELTER and primary luxury to maintain the livelihood . It took many years to invent the Discoveries and Inventions to have the recent technological changes . But before that also there was a life and mass was living peacefully -- so i feel it will not affect if it goes in totality

All of you had great answers. I agree with most of you, technology seems to be the bane of our existence causing the masses to become socially inept. Would it be anarchy? I pray we never find out. :)
