Can wolves make good pets?

I talking ato my mom whose from Virginia and she told me about people having wolves as pets down there so I'm just curious...can they make good pets?

Wolves can be tamed if they are raised from pups. However, they are still wild animals and you never know when the instinct to kill for food or to defend might kick in.

The characteristics that are appealing in wolves, such as intelligence and loyalty and resistance to cold climates, can be found in domesticated breeds like huskies and malamutes.

i watched a few tv things about it, and they always seem to be realy friendly after they have got to trust the human and i supose if you have it from a puppy then it would.i just think you have to be realy strong with it.

CAN they make good pets...yes, probably.

DO they make good pets for 99.99% of the population...no.

no, of course not. wolves are not meant to live as a human companion, wolves do not have the instinct to live with humans
