No doubt there are a number of feminists with a high IQ. People with a high IQ often lack common sense. I rarely come across a feminist who makes a point using reasoning and common sense, most of the time they give bigoted answers that are clouded in half baked pseudo intellectualism. Feminists rarely ever give genuine answers unless they are together in a mob and have their guard down. Watch them when they are answering a question where they think they are all together with no opposition or outsiders. Their true colors show.

Obviously all women aren't mentally handicapped. This is well documented. What she IS doing here is trying to grab at the women of the world who hate feminism and say "here! look! we deserve to be valued"

I find that extremely offensive. I'm not a feminist, specifically because their half-baked notions of "we are the same as men" are incredibly stupid. Feminism to my mind is an extremely immature way to look at the world. But if someone like Rita Mae Brown has to resort to insults like that to get your point across...well, I don't really think that level of intellect is a threat to me.

I think that Rita Mae Brown may have been trying to indicate that true Feminism is such an obvious truth that anyone with any sense would recognize and accept it.

And lets be fair that there are a lot of different understandings of what Feminism is. Most people (like the ice cold b*t*hs guy above) have a warped understanding of Feminism, which at it's core is really about the equality of the sexes. Not the reduction or degrading of men OR women.

My guess is that she meant this sarcastically, in response to perceived fears of smart women on the part of men. Either way, very stupid.
