Is it "and scene" or "end scene"?

i always hear "and scene" but i'm wondering whether that's wrong... saying "end scene" might make more sense when someone says it at the end of an awkward convo or something... which do you use?

It's end. I've scene it in scripts before. But lots of actual actors don't like to hear it on the basis that it is way overly cheesy and dramatic.


But I'm sure you'll use it responsibly. :)

i was wondering that too! i've actually heard people say it both ways, oddly enough.

It's "...and scene!" Same sense as "...and cut!". The "and" is just leading up to the one-word sentence "Scene.", which carries the same sense of finality as "Game.", "Set.", or "Match." would in the context of tennis.
