    It's 28 off, so 112. You take 140 times .20

A quick tip my mom taught me if you're ever in a store and need to figure out a price of something on sale is to take 2 times the the tens digit or the hundred and the tens digit and subtract that from the total price. (If your percent is 60, then take six times the price)

So if you had a $70 item at 40% off, take 4 times 7, which equal 28, and subtract that from $70.

Hopefully that makes some sense. :)

    You multiply .2x140
    then subtract that from 140

Do .8 times 140, this will give you the dollar amount that the bathing suit will cost you.

    Hope this helps :)

    10% of 140 is 14 so
    20% of 140 is 28.

    140-28=112

    (:

    I start with doing 10% and then doubling it. 14 is 10% so 28 would be 20%. 140 minus 28 is $112.

    .20 X 140= 28
    140-28= 112
so the bathing suit is now 112

$28, as 10% is 14. times it by two then you get your discount :) So the new price would be $112

    Do the math

    20*140/100.

What ever you get minus it from 140 and that is your new price
