Is my daughter not happy with me?

Question

My 2 month old daughter will not smile or laugh in my presence, but other people said they have seen her do both. Is she not happy with me or does she not like me? I don't know what to think.

I play with her and talk to her to get her motivated, but nothing happens. She just stares at me like I'm stupid or something

Do you feel stressed around her? Babies can sense that. Maybe you need to stop worrying about this around her.
I know this may seem silly, but she finally has a face to put with the voice that she has been listening to 24/7 all this time, maybe she is just so fascinated with you that she does not smile.

If I remember right someone told me that babies do not have the ability to smile when they want to at this age. It is an involuntary response that they "smile". I may be wrong ask your doctor, though. I hope that this may help.

Just RELAX. She will smile at you soon and she is happy with you and she does like you after all you are the one who cares for her!

My advice would be maybe she wants a little more time to spend with you and try to make her appreciate you and have fun with her because she really loves you but maybe you need to give her more love for her to smile to you.

Spend as much time with her play with her hug her love her. If you work and are not around her that much that could be why. But when my son was little he would never laugh or smile at me for a good while and my parents could make him just laigh and smile all the time, Soon though he would laugh and stuff at me. And he is a mommas boy it might just take someone time dont let it bother you. And at 2 months they wont laugh much at all.
