Low-light performance?

In reviews of digital cameras from point-n-shoot to DSLRs one constant complaint is poor performance in low light conditions. It almost seems pointless to talk about since this seems to be the norm. Are there any digicams, other than full-frame professional models that DO take good pix in dim conditions? Funny, the reviewers/users never seem to say: 'This model does poorly in dim light compared to _________', they just complain.

Look 4 the new Fujifilm F200EXR, which will do well in low-light.

Other good point and shoots for low-light: the Fujifilm F30 or F31fd, which R legendary for their low-light ability. Used, they are quite expensive.

The newer F50 isn't as good, but still class-leading. See here:

Can't say about the latest F60fd or F100fd. However, U now have info on digicams that do take good pics in dim conditions.
