I believe whatever doesn't kill you simply makes you..stranger..i don't understand the whole thing..need help?

No, he means stranger. It is from the dark knight. look at the Joker, he is crazy. look at his scars, they are a deformity. He did not die from getting the scars, and he was not killed from his insane antics. Therefore, that which can't kill you (hasn't killed him) make you (made him) stranger. A very light touch on the idea.

Well, if you mean stronger..

whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger is kind of a saying..
a positive way of viewing the harder things in life..

for instance--
if you battle cancer and survive, you come out a stronger person from living through all that pain..
so you have a different outlook on life, and you start living as if you can do ANYTHING you set your mind to...



or if you go nearly go through a divorce, and end up making your marriage work..
you appreciate it that much more.

i hate that saying to, my saying instead of that has always been '' what doesnt kill you , leaves you permantly psychologically damaged ''

which i think makes more sense, who says you should have to endure unending torment to make you stronger ? complete garbage in my opinion.
