search the internet or ebay for xbox 360 vga cables...they work really good on a comp monitor...i have some myself and i can tell you i ain't hooking them back to a t.v again lol...besides a monitor can put out more pixels than a tv especially when u set the game to a very high res...and don't worry if u set the res to high it wont black the screen out...it will just probably hang off the screen but if you use a widescreen monitor then that shouldn't be a problem if you set to the highest setting...you can find them for really cheap...like under 10 dollars...u cant beat that!!

I have a HP w2207h, very good picture and perfect considering its portability options (rotation/height/wall mount). It comes with a HD port, so good if you have an xbox with HD port aswell. Other than that, I'm currently using a the VGA socket, and a VGA adapter lead for the xbox. Oohh..and the monitor comes with it's own speakers, perfect in my opinion..
