When the Royals win the 09 World Series, how many "lifelong" fans will come out of the woodworK?

I mean, how can anyone compete with the Royals? They've got Hor-Ram, Bri-Ban, D-Low, J-Gob, E-Germ, J-Guill, Will-Bloom, C-Crisp and A-Gord. With original nicknames like that, how can anyone beat them?

As a "lifelong" Royals fan, I just have to say watch out for the boys in blue this year. Don't be surprised if they walk away with an AL Central title in 2009.

Funny. Love the question. To answer it directly, I guarantee that IF they win it, you'll see more fans than you ever knew possible. The bandwagon holds a lot of people Look at how many Arizona Cardinal fans are starting to show up saying, "I've always like them" or "I knew they would be there one of these years" or "When they started using Kurt Warner, I thought they would be a hard to beat".

Plenty of fans will come out of the woodwork. It will be the same situation that happened in 2007 with the Rockies. They did not win the World Series but they made it to the World Series. So many came out of the woodwork it wasn't even funny.

You are a serious homer! Ok the royals are getting better and they have some young talent. But we all know who is going to win the AL Central, the Minnesota Twins. This division will lac this year. The royals can compete for third place but no "PLAYOFFS" this year. I'm a Twins fan and so I like the style of Small Ball(like what the Royals and Twins Play). They won't do anything though, sorry.

You have to love spring training. Everyone is a champ this time of year and it feels good to talk up your team. KC will play baseball this year and they will not go to the world series. That is my prediction.
