Government funded grants scam?

add by google sent me to this web adress www.earncashfromgrants.com and it asked for my adress and e mail then it wanted my credit card number and said it wouldonly charge 1.00 but why would they do this?? i cant find any info about this website being a scam or not? has anyone heard of this??

any ".com" [commercial] is as scam as if it is the government it is supposed to have a ".gov" [government] address

if I were you I would not do this

They are simply doing what others have done. Recycle the same info that you can get for free.The trail membership is one buck but if you do not cancel they will charge you 30 bucks a month after that. If you signed up then I suggest you call customer service and get out of that obligation now.

Don't pay for a grant or scholarship search. There are a lot of reputable sites out there that don't charge. Here is a link to an excellent resource that will direct you to free sites:

They have been around for years and do not charge. Many financial aid people use this site as a great resource.

My husband signed up for this also and thought it was only a buck. Well they just charged our checking account today and so i was looking at the website and its in there terms and conditions that if you don't cancel in 7 days its 29.95 a month. I am calling them today but it also says they will not refund you any money. So we are out 30 bucks. It is a huge scam. People don't realize unless you read fine print.

The only web address you should go to is (us.gov) and then type in free grants or call your local government office for more information
