i saw prototypes of the spin-off and it looked decent. however, why did Yahoo! believe that "yet another" domain / property could solve the "discovering the gems within" problem.
there's too much focus on new products and the next shiny thing. product teams should have delivered better results within Answers itself and promoting good knowledge into search results (remember that battle w/ Google over search dominance?).
Answerspedia would have been more peanut butter =)
