If i am writing an essay about argumentative and persuasion, how can i began my introduction?

my essay is about the articles "common decency" by susan jacoby and "rape: a bigger danger than feminist know" by camille paglia, i have to choose the one that i agree with, i am still not sure with which one i agree, but how can i start it... any suggestions will help me alot!

state ur position and the reasons that u will use to defend your position in one sentence, which will be ur thesis, and then describe a little about each reason then transition into a paragraph about one of ur reasons, give about a paragraph for every reason and then add a conclusion that wraps up the essay, basically turn ur thesis into a question then answer it in the conclusion, that will summarize everything u talked about in the paper, seriously the more work u put into ur thesis and introduction the easier the rest of the paper will be because everything will be following the outline set up in the introduction
