How to copyright a pen name?

My name is Anne, but I write poetry under the name Aileas Carson. I am not a famous author, but what are the steps to copyright my pen name so it remains mine? Are there any other steps that need to be taken?

You can't copyright a name.

The best option is to publish under it, so other poets will choose something else lest they be confused with you.
