Has any girl ever had a tampon get stuck?

Please help i have been using tampons for three years now, never had a problem till today, I was going to change it like i always do and when i did it wasn't there. I'm really scared.PLEASE HELP.

First, are you certain you put one in? Yes, I had it happen once. It was as far up like around the cervix as it could get and the string was up there too. I don't know how it happened, unless I put one in on top of the other one and shoved it up there. It was a challenge, but I finally managed to get a fingernail on it and pull it down far enough to get hold and pull it out. I was scared that I would have to get my parents to take me to the hospital and get it out. You might try squatting down, which sort of shortens the vagina and reach in and feel for it. I hope you get it out.

Nope. Might want to go to the doctor's, though. Having that thing in there for a long time isn't really good.

Go to the doctors now!!! If you dont get that thing out you will get toxic shock and it's not good it is better if you get it out right now... Toxic shock can be very dangerous and it can also be deadly, im not trying to scare you or anything but you really need to get help!

The string might just have gone up inside you. Go in the bathroom, get a small mirror and, well, look around for it. Don't panic, there really isn't anywhere it can go.

My mom had a friend that had that happen, She had to go to the doctor and have it removed. If you think you have it stuck in there. I would suggest going to the doctor. It is very bad for you to have a tampon in for very long.

it wasn't there? try digging deeper. sorry that was a bit blunt but i'm sure it's in there somewhere! You'll be okay though, I've had wierd situations with like accidently putting in two at once or somethign (hurts like a b*tch) Anyways...goodluck!

you may have forgotten you didnt have one in. calm down and just reach up and get it out if you are sure its in there.

the first time my sister tried putting one in she pulled the wrong thing and got the plastic part stuck. she needed to get my mom to get it out for her.

and once i put a tampon in. and it was like real uncomfortable. so i took it out and two came out. i had no idea i had another one in there lol!

You can get a tampon stuck, but it doesn't happen particularly often. More likely the string is just inside you along with the tampon. It's probably still there. I know this sounds gross but just kinda use your finger to wiggle around and see if you feel it, while pushing down like you are going poop. If you can't feel it then, you should see a doctor, but if you can feel it, just pull it out with your fingers.

Ok, calm down, it has to be there somewhere, it's not a mysterious black hole or anything.
You could try 'bearing down', like using your muscles in that area to try to push it down further, so you're able to find it. The more anxious you get, the more difficult it's going to be. You need to relax and just give it another go. If you still can't find it, you need to get to a doctor, if it's too late where you are, then to urgent care or even emergency, because you can't leave it in too long, as this can cause troubles.
So, give it another, relaxed, try. Like I said, there's no place for it to go, it's there somewhere. Good luck!

The string may have just gone up inside you. Insert your fingers and feel around for it. Make sure your hands are clean. You can use a mirror to look as well. Bearing down sometimes help a little, to move the tampon closer to your entrance. If that fails, and you're absolutely certain that you did put one in, then you will need to get to the doctors to have it removed ASAP.

I ONCE GOT ONE OF THOSE MENSTRAL CUPS STUCK INSIDE OF ME. IT TOOK ME ABOUT 30 MINUTES TO FIND IT AND PULL IT OUT. I DIDNT HURT OR ANYTHING AND I COULDNT FEEL IT UP THERE BUT JUST THE THOUGHT THAT I COULDNT GET IT WAS SCARY

I FINALLY GOT IT BY SQUATTING ON THE EDGE OF MY BED AND BEARING DOWN WITH MY MUSCLES WHILE REACHING UP THERE. IT WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND I NEVER WORE ONE AGAIN....IM SURE YOULL GET IT. U MIGHT HAVE TO WAIT A WHILE UNTIL ITS SOAKED THROUGH ENOUGH FOR IT TO START TO SLIDE DOWN

The string might have gone inside you, look around. I've never had one stuck... But I've only used three and each one hurt like a mongoose on a motorcycle to take out.
