Allah says he is the God of the Torah and the Gospel.
Allah says his word can not be changed.
Allah says the Qu'ran agrees with the scriptures we have.

The one who submits I was waiting for this Sura...This Sura does not refer to womeone changing Allah's word but to someone writning a book and saying it is form Allah...If Allah said a man changed his word it would be a contradiction with all of the Suras that say none can change his words and that the Gospel and Torah are guidence and light...You know better than to claim this is saying someone changed Allah's word..It says woe to him who writes a book and says it is from Allah.

Now how can this book be missing or corrupt unless Allah is wrong?

It is not their Allah who is wrong. It is the muslims who are in the wrong. They are trying to prove the right scriptures wrong by showing that the wrong scriptures are right.

EDIT: Read the second verse; this is referring to the Christians and Jews, so of course they were already following the Torah and Gospel, this verse is clear that the reference is to the original books. There were not dozens of different versions of the Bible 1400 years ago.


EDIT: What are u trying to prove? You are trying to say that the Qur'an is corrupt, but if u were to read the rest of the Qur'an, there some things that agree and disagree with the Bible. The Qur'an agrees with itself; the bible does not. There are verses that say Jesus is son of God, God Himself, and then there are verses that say the opposite. If there is one that is apparently corrupted, then it ought a be the Bible.

Here's a question out of curiosity: Allah says in the Qur'an that he "does not beget, nor is He begotten." He says that Jesus (pbuh) is not the son of God. The Injeel says otherwise, but yet also agrees with the Qur'an ((as Rumaitha pointed out in her previous question about the flesh and trinity)). So how can these 2 agree (i.e Either the Gospel-Gospel, or the Qur'an-Gospel)? Of course this refers to the original books if they are corrupted. What about the Nicene Creed? If it took 325 years after Jesus' death to finally consider the idea of trinity, does this not mean that Jesus did not teach the trinity? Why then, do people follow it today?

Muslim DO NOT disagree with the fact that the Enjeel (Bible) and Torah were in fact Divine scripts inspired by Allah(SWT), amongst others that have been lost and destroyed throughout history- however Allah tells us in the Qur'an that the ONLY Holy Text that will NOT be tampered with is the Holy Qur'an- all the others were messed with one way or the other.

I really do hope that you are given Guidance by our Creator, because it seems like you're very inquisitive about this topic.
