Citric Acid + Baking Soda = ?

What is the product of a chemical reaction between Citric Acid (NaHCO3) and Baking Soda (H3C6H5O7) when the two are mixed in a cup at room temperature?

These are the contents of Alka-Seltzer. They obviously will produce some "plop-plop, fizz-fizz".

The product is a "salt" and water, just like any other acid-base reaction.

By the way, citric acid is C3H2OH(COOH)3 and baking soda is NaHCO3.

C3H2OH(COOH)3 + 3NaHCO3 --> C3H2OH(COONa)3 + 3CO3 + 3H2O
