Which of these books should I research for my project?

I have to read and do a big project on one of these books. In your opinion, which one is best and why?

Emma by Jane Austen
It's a classic so there will be a lot of info about the book itself out there, it's an interesting story, and since it has a lot of influence from the Victorian time period (all Austen's work does really) there will be a lot of information on what influenced Austen while she was writing the story.
