My decision on abortion?

so for you who have read my previous posts I have been battling with my family and my ex on abortion, they have been pressuring me and everything and I have been torn to make a decision... so I went to anchorage yesterday for the abortion....I couldn't do it...
so that means im still preggo! fighting to save my childs life...after all thats what the mother is suppose to do, is keep your child safe

It is good that you made your decision and did not let the opinions of others influence you. I know that it has to be hard going up against your family and the baby's father. It could not have been easy and I cannot imagine what you have gone through. You have made a grown up decision and I feel wonderful for your baby! Congratulations on your bundle of joy! You're the one who has to carry it, and I haven't read your other Q's but the decision should be between you and the father of the child, no one else.

And if the father doesn't want it, i guess it's just up to you.
If he's your ex, then he probably won't be there for it as much as you will be anyways.

I think you did the right thing. Only you know if you're ready to have a child.

Good for you, you should do what you want, not what they want, it is your body and your decision, not theirs! They are not the ones who are going to have to live with the consequences! You should only listen to yourself in a situation like this.

Keep fighting! If you have reasons to keep this child, do! I hope you make the choice YOURSELF. It's YOU who is "renting" your body to this child. YOU are the one feeding it. YOU, and you alone, have to make this choice. Personally, I would keep the baby. You're right: a mother's job is to protect a child. Good for you, and good luck!

It is YOUR choice no one elses.. If you go through with the abortion, you are the one that will think of that baby everyday! Don't let anyone push you to do something you don't want to, because you are the one who has to live with yourself not them! I honor you for not being able to abort! I don't know how old you are but you are a strong girl for earning up to your accident! Go to a pregnancy support center and discuss other options besides abortion. There is all kinds of help out there! Please don't Abort! A baby is a blessing and each and everyone of them have a purpose! Good Luck and when all else fails just pray about it!

Keep it up! Stay Pregnant! If you find yourself in a dire situation without a place to live or you just need a safe place there are usually special homes for pregnant single mothers where you can live. Search for it on the internet and I'm sure you will find something I am so happy you are choosing life. I'm praying for you and your future child. I also just want to encourage adoption. If you are living in an unhealthy unsupported environment I definitely feel you should consider it. But if you want to keep it and take care of it yourself there's nothing wrong with that. Check out a Pregnancy Resource Center in your area. They are very pro-life and can help you out with providing free counseling, doctor visits, baby clothes/supplies and adoption options if interested. it's 100% free 100% confidential.

You are doing the right thing. Keep that child safe and if you cant support him or her yourself and dont have help, the best thing is to continue to keep that child safe by finding him/her a safe home through a legitimate adoption company. WTG, girl!

I had an abortion when I was young and I never have forgotten about that baby. I remember the feelings of being afraid, of feeling trapped. Not having the money .......all of those things. Even if you decide not to keep the baby you can adopt it. Who knows this child might be the answer to a world problem. :)

That's great! I know it's hard and especially when your family is not supporting you, but you will never regret your decision.
