Handmade Christmas Gifts for best friends?

me and my friends decided to make each other gifts for christmas instead of buying. what are some good ideas besides like picture frames and ornaments..

You could crochet a scarf, mittens or hat. Crocheting is easy to do especially the basic stitches. A friend of mine did that for me and I still use it (9 years later).

I think food makes a great gift. Try wrapping baked goods in colored wrap. You can put it in Christmas boxes or bags. You can make them a CD on your computer of their favorite songs. Buy some scrap-booking supplies and make an album of your friends. It's not really a homemade gift, but you could go out with your friends to the movies, mall, or something.
