How many minutes of commercials do we watch in an hour of TV? ?

it's 20 I have tivo and it takes me about 40mins to watch an hour long show

In the UK its 20 mins per Hour

i think its 15 min in the US

Well if you take the example below:

Say a movie is 1 hr and 27 mins, well on the guide it says the movie is from 8-10

well that is 33 mins of commercials

Now in a half an hour show it maybe about 7-10 mins of commercials so, that is about 14-20 mins of commercials per hour
