How do you pronounce Lepidopterophobia?

Question

I just want to know because I, personally am terrified of butterflies and moths. When people ask me the term for the fear, I don't know how to reply.
I would just really appreciate it if someone could break it down for me. Thanks!

Lep = like leopard
Idop = like it's spelled except the 'i' is pronounced like the 'i' in ick
Tero = tur-oh
phobia = fo bee uh

So, say it like this= lepid - opter - ophobia

Just repeat those segments until it comes naturally. Lepidoptera is the family that moths and butterflies belong to. So practice saying Lepidoptera after you get the segments down and then just say "phobia" after. Hope this helps. It just takes practice. :)

Is your name Heather? I have a friend with this same phobia. I try not to torment her with it, but it's difficult. She gets back at me, though, because I have a telephone phobia.
