what are the minimum enlistments terms for the 4 services?
Army, air force, navy and Marines

all contracts are for eight total years. How long that will be on Active duty depends on what job you get. Average is 4 years, some are as high as six and a very few are as little as three.

nowadays you have to be at least 17, with high school diploma. if under 18 you need parental consent.
