What scary movies do you recommend me watching this Halloween with my friends?

Question

We will not be watching The Exorcist that is 100% sure.
We like murder movies and stuff.
We don't like that messed up crap like SAW.
As far as demons go we will watch The Amityville Horror and thats as scary as it will get.
NO POSSESSION MOVIES.
We also like monster movies. RAWR

i really like STAY ALIVE, but you have to get the unrated version. idk about the new halloween or texas chainsaw, but i think i am going to watch those

I suggest Cabin fever. (flesh eating disease attatches to teens whilst they are summer vacationing in a cabin.....guy has to kill his girl crush)

......buuuuuuut it sounds like ur into slashers soooo....

freddy vs Jason (not the best plot-wise, but there is a lot of killing....honestly dunno if its THAT scary cuz i think Jason Vorhees is hot)

oooo! Resident Evil (is ALWAYS a classic series.....though i think the first is the best!)

Evil Dead (has a lot of killing, but is half-comedic)

Scream (is a little for the older group, with innuendos and such and has more to do with the mentally messed up killer)

oh and....ohhh hmmm i forget the name of this one movie where this guy has an alien attatched to him then gets a girl pregnant and she inflates to the size of a barn cuz of all the alien babies and all of em look like leeches.....i like that one.

Rebecca, its a black and white film and its old, but it sure is good! It's very creepy without doing very much. It's 1940 Alfred Hitchcock movie. I've seen it once but the housekeeper character I have not been able to get off my mind.

Lady in White (1988)

It's a very underrated horror movie in my opinion. It's about this little girl who comes to visit this boy, she's a ghost. Every night she relives her murder. To me, its one of the scariest I've ever seen. Don't know why.

Monster Movies on Halloween is the way to go.
Dog Soldiers--recommended.
Ginger Snaps
Dagon
Fido--basically it's Lassie with zombies. Very good.
Undead--love the Spierig brothers!
Slither
Razorblade Smile--Jake West is not to all tastes
The Cottage--also quite funny, believe it or not.
Behind the Mask--excellent.
Silent Hill--actually quite good
The Orphanage--creepy and subtle.
Ju-on/The Grudge--the original.
