This christmas, i don't have as much money as i did last year so i am trying to figure out some christmas idea's for my close family. I am very crafty so i thought i might go to my local hobby lobby and pick up some supplies to make some nice gifts. One family member loves to cook so i thought about doing a decorate recipe card box and filling it full of recipes...but i need some more idea's...help!!
I make Candy wreaths for Christmas. Very inexpensive, and the family loves them. Take a wire coat hanger and stretch it into a circle. Get 3 lbs of bulk candy. I have even used the mini chocolate bars. Use curling ribbon and tie the candy all the way around the coat hanger. Voila, you have a tasty wreath. I wrap the candy on individually. You do not need to cut the wribbon as you go. You can use any color curling ribbon. To top it, sometimes I make a wribbon bow, and take pieces of curling ribbon, attach it and curl to fill in some gaps.
can u give us a little bit more on instructions on how to do this candy wreath sounds like something my friends and family would like they all have a sweet tooth
