How do you scrunch dry your hair?

i found a hairstyle i want and it says to scrunch dry sooo what does that mean?

Let hair almost dry (still damp) with dryer or just air dry, then apply gel or mouse and scrunch your hair with your whole hand all over your head until the hair is in a style that you like. Should have a curly look, wavy, then let your hair finish air drying.

i get out of the shower but gel and moose in then scruch it and put it in a really messy bun the sleep in it and i wake up and make it look more put together!

you put wave enhancing stuff or gel in your hair and then kinda crunch it with your fingers until it's dry.
