Is Tyler Perry the worst director ever?

Do I think he's the worst director ever? probably not. But he is very, very, very overrated and to have all the success that he's had making films of not that great of quality takes success away from directors out there who I'm sure deserve the recognition tyler perry gets. I mean one or two movies, that was fine but they are all the same so that was plenty.

I don't know, but the one movie I saw sucked horribly. It would have been funny if the character was really an old lady, but knowing it's a man under the dress makes "her" doing outrageous things not funny. It's not shockingly funny when a young man does a slam dunk, regardless of what he's wearing.

No. I don't think Tyler Perry is the worst director ever. Definitely in the top 25 though.

His character, Madea, is the best character in almost all his movies. That's saying something considering she's mainly used as a secondary character.

Yes. All of his plays are one in the same to me. They do not entertain me anymore. He re-uses the same lines way too much and I don't think some of them are funny.

I always hated his plays, they annoyed me sooo much. The movies are worse. He is way overrated.
