I would say 8 to 20 years. Big dogs like great danes don't live that long but little dogs can live 20 years.

    Small dogs(Terriers, ETC.) - 15-20 years
    Medium dogs(Spaniels, ETC.) - 10-15 years
Large dogs(Great Danes, German Shepherd ETC.) - 7-15

All this is based on how well your dog is fed, exercised, it's medical history and breed purity.
I had a German Shep.X Doberman that live till he was 17 years old.
And a Miniature Poodle that lived till it was 21!

It depends on the size of the dog. Small dogs can live up to about 17 or 18 years old, maybe even more if they're in great health. Larger dogs typically live to be about 13-15. Extra large dogs might live to an even earlier age.

I have had two Lhasa Apsos live to be 17 and my Doberman was almost 14. Generally, smaller dogs live longer than big dogs.

Breeding, size, diet, etc. all play a role. There is no "one" answer; there are so many factors.

the Irish Wolfhound averages 6 yrs. the Dane 8 yrs.
we just lost our Aussie at 14 yrs last week. my Bernese/lab is 12.
we had a cocker mix when i was a kid that lived to 19.
    depends on the breed/size.
the rule of thumb: the bigger the dog, the shorter the life span.
the better the care, the longer they live.

10-15 years. It really depends on how you treat, feed and look after your dog. The better you treat your dog the longer it could live, there have been some dogs that have live up to 25 years of age!!
