we are given (136.8) (10^12) calculations / second .

we also know that 1 second = 10^6 microseconds .

thus
(136.8) (10^12) calculations / second * (1second / 10^6 microseconds)

= (136.8) (10^6) calculations / microsecond
or
136.8 mega-calculations / microsecond .
