Salam for you my dear friend.Thajud prayer has no special way just the same with mandatory praying. But this tahajud prayer is usually done on the best time, after midnight and you wake up from your sleeping at about 2 or 3 AM. upto before the fajr time.(10 minutes before shubuh mandatory praying). Before making a prayer you should make a wudhu and then you make a niyat (intention) for tahajud prayer. It is performed just like Muhammad pbuh did,4 times of 2 raka'at with 1salam for each plus 3 raka'ats of witr with 1 salam. So its total is 11 raka'ats. as a whole.
After you finished tahajud prayer you should make a du'a by telling what do you want to ask for help from Allah. You should make this tahajud prayer in several nights

    Indeed a very good question

First, the time of tahajud ends when fajr times starts or few minutes before

And you there is no special way of offering the prayer however you should make the niyyah for tahjud and make sure you make dua after praying tahajud because that's the time when duas are accepted because its has been reported by Abn Hurairah

The Messenger of Allāh, peace and blessings of Allāh be on him, said,

"Our Lord, blessed and exalted is He, descends every night to the nearest heaven when the latter one-third of the night remains, (and) says, Is there any one who calls upon Me so that I may accept of him, who asks of Me so that I may grant him, who seeks forgiveness of Me so that I may forgive him?

I hope this answers you question.

The time for praying Salatul-Layl is from midnight (midnight is reckoned as the time which is exactly half the time between sunset and the actual dawn) to the time of Adhan for Fajr prayers. However, it can be prayed at anytime after Isha prayers but it is better to pray during the last part of the night near to the time of Fajr prayers. If it is not possible to pray after midnight or before Fajr, then it can be prayed in the morning or any part of the day with the niyyah (intention) of Qadha. It is better to pray with the niyyah of Qadha during the day time than to pray in the early part of the night, and it is 2 rakat prayer!!

    salaam bro

Good question. There are no specific amount of rakats that you have to pray. It can even just be 2 rakahs or it can be 12 rakahs. What counts is the fact that it is tahajjud prayer, so when you begin, make niyyah for tahajjud prayer. As for the times, well it's recommended for people to sleep right after Isha prayer so that a person can wake up around 12-2: which is the most common time for praying tahajjud. But if not possible, you can pray right after Isha till just before Fajr prayer.

May Allah accept your duas. Ameen
    Salaam

sets of 2, I believe u can do as much as rakats as u want, whilst some say that is bidah and that u should do 8 to follow the messenger of Allah (SAW), so u decide.

It can be done anytime from Isha until Fajr, but the recommded time is to go to sleep and then wake up and pray it during the last thrd of the night, like Muhammad (SAW)
