Converting m4p to mp3 question?

So, I have been trying different programs to convert my itunes songs into mp3 format all day, but every program I have used only converts 3 minutes of the song. I know that it's because I'm using trial versions, but I really don't want to spend 50 bucks on a program I will likely only use this once. Does anyone know of a free program to convert my m4p files to mp3s?

You can also use iTunes' built in backup to disc feature that will let you burn a backup CD for each album, and then when you import that CD back into iTunes it will import them without the DRM protection.

That's a little tedious but will work.

Also, have you looked at the AlM4P Converter from Aimersoft? It costs money, but not 50 bucks (half that), which is worth it imho if you have a lot of music that you need to convert.

I used it to convert itunes music into mp3 so that I could listen to them on my blackberry.
