Does whey protein speed weight loss- even though I don't lift weights as often as I do cardio?

I'd like to lose 10 lbs or more in the next 3 wks- my diet is good, I just need a little push to get there. I am working out 2 hrs a day, five days a week, with about an hour of cardio and half an hour weights and other exercises (warm-up/stretching for the rest). It won't bulk me up will it?

I wouldn't worry, you need to be doing some serious weights for longer periods to really bulk up. Keep with the Whey protein as it is an awesome way to get the protein you need.

We need muscle in order to burn fat .Muscle is a very active tissue, so burns fat even while resting. You need to have a certain amount of muscle in order to burn fat efficiently. Every pound of muscle you have will burn 50 extra calories per day.

It sounds like you are only toning your muscles, not bulking them up so you will be sweet.

Good luck and all the best with your weight loss goals
